About Us
It all started 10 years ago when a little upstairs cocktail bar opened on Western Road. Created and run by Jake Kempston, who had previously opened Brighton's first boutique hotel, The Oriental, Koba became an award-winning destination cocktail bar, where love affairs began and ages were celebrated.
Now, following a massive revamp, Koba is back, bigger, brighter and better than ever before, and with a setting for every occasion, day or night.

Koba pays for the recycling of many tonnes of cardboard and glass every year. Our most recent green commitment is the installation of solar photovoltaic roof panels by www.mmgpower.com enabling us to harness the Sun's energy and convert it into the ice in your drinks.
We are also closely involved with www.treesforcities.org a charity that has planted more than 100,000 trees in the UK and abroard.
